There has been a significant increase of non-native English speakers using the English language as a specific tool in competing inside the international market. It has turned into the universal language for business and can unite people from various cultural backgrounds for them to discuss their thoughts in a clear, efficient and effective way.
In some ESL (English as a Second Language) schools, there are Business English modules that include actual business topics like how to reach an agreement through a negotiation and proper email format.

For ESL teachers, mastering Business English is deemed to be a specialization in the profession due to the fact that there are certain jargon and vocabulary words that must be learned to help be more valuable in the field. General English is, of course, a basic knowledge that the Business English teacher must already have a good grasp on. This skill is crucial in both written and oral forms of communication and is probably expected from the teacher because General English is a foundation for any further specialization in teaching the language.

Another way to expand the global market is to expose ESL teachers to also learn through their experiences from clients. Not only can the students learn from the teacher in using English, but the teacher can also learn from the learners by seeing what international companies are and how they function in the modern world. This would allow the teachers to gain first-hand knowledge about the business world and can be a very fulfilling endeavor.

Since adamant social skills are so critical in the business environment, people in the business world must fundamentally be capable of communicating with clients and partners. Therefore, in the case of globalization and the fact that English is the universal language of communication, the international market needs to be catered by highly qualified teachers of Business English who can help it break the barriers of sharing new ideas in the rapidly growing world.
