Teaching pronuncciation and Phonology is alot of content to digest and a teacher should be carefull on how to teach this to student. I found it a bit difficult. I thaught I understode it but when writing the test now, it wasn't so easy as I thaught it would be. The Phonemic symbols isn't something I will enjoy teaching others because it can cause alot confusion.In this unit, I learned that there are many methods in teaching English, many of them focusing on different aspects of the language, whereas Jeremy Harmer's ESA methodology serves more as a well-rounded way of teaching and provides flexibility and effectiveness in teaching.
