This unit discussed many potential issues that may arise in any teachers classroom. It gave several tips on classroom management to aide in student boredom, very large class sizes, students with varying English ability levels, reluctant students, and the use of the learners native language. It also stressed the importance of developing rapport in the first class.This lesson was very beneficial to learning more about how to instruct language and grammar. Typically when I have taught grammar before, I simply considered what the person I was teaching needed to know, which made the lesson very unstructured and informal. This unit however, provides me with the necessary structures for teaching english vocabulary and language.
