Learning how to have an effective classroom management is very helpful especially when it comes to engaging the students in learning and being motivated in learning.An effective teaching and learning cannot take place in a poorly managed classroom. A teacher plays a very important role in classroom management and determining his/her position to the learner.Phonology is a very interesting unit as this is not how I learned the english language. Reading script is very tough at the beginning but I found it helps me relate to students, who are often reading slowly and trying to sound out words that they do not know. I will continue to work on integrating phonology into my classes along with discussions and writing.
