This unit discussed the many different teaching aids that can be used to make lessons more interesting, effective, and less dependent on the textbook. With each different teaching aide, you must be prepared to use it before class begins and to have a backup in case the unit fails. Each different teaching aid is dependent on the level and ability of the student.In this unit I have learnt variety of materials that teachers can use to aid their students' progress in the classroom. I got some ideas of using resource books, the use of dictionaries in the classroom and issues surronding the use of technology. I have also learnt the differences between authentic and created materials and how to use course books effectively.
