The unit was clear and easy to understand. I really enjoy the lesson plans given at the end of units since it is sometimes difficult to see how to put receptive skills in a lesson. It was good to see that you can pair the two receptive skills easily together. I think it would be beneficial to also read out loud rather than by themselves depending on skill.I've learned the importance of teacher-student roles in the classroom, evaluation of student abilities, being an inspiring, and knowledgeable role model for the students. I have been reminded that the role of the teacher is more about student learning than teacher teaching. I also have learned the importance of caring and enthusiasm to help students learn.
