John is currently teaching in Seoul, South Korea in a local school and at his home. John completed the TESOL course with ITTT. In this TESOL review video, John tells us what he gained from taking the course. The knowledge he gained from the course has already helped to improve his lessons and he is getting positive feedback from his students. John runs all of his own classes and is responsible for creating and choosing the materials for his classes as well as planning the lessons. Having completed this TESOL course, John is now considering taking further courses including a TESOL diploma and possibly a masterâ€™s in TESOL.

This segment was interesting. If gave me some insight as to how the attitude of the teacher can effect the students. I actually never realized that. In all the classrooms I have been in I never realized what a huge difference the teacher's attitude made. This is something I will keep in mind when I am teaching and trying to elicit reactions from my students.I can see where this will be difficult for the students. I read and hear native English speakers using tenses incorrectly all the time and they had many years of learning. I can see a lot of board work by me and a lot of practicing by the students. I imagine it is a difficult concept to teach if they do not typically use many tenses in their native language.
