I learned that I need to pay close attention to key words in the questions. A lot of this information was indeed first reviewed in unit 3. I was able to understand more clearly which E.S.A. methods would be more apt for specific level students. You really have to be very creative when selecting vocabulary and grammar activate exercises for higher level students.Unit 3 explains some of the historical teaching methods and techniques including their pros and cons. It then describes a modern revolutionary methodology being Engage-Study-Activate (ESA) which looks not only exciting and effective but fun too! It provides some examples and ideas as to how it can be applied. I look forward to employing ESA in my future classes.
