In this unit, I went over the possible different ways to use the necessary vocabulary learning methods (i.e. appropriacy, similarities to students' own language, meanings, etc...) and to not focus on the smaller side of words such as the origins and how often the structures are used.
I also learned how to introduce grammatical structures and language functions.This unit discussed about the various aspects of phonology namely stress, rhythm and intonation. It also discussed about pronunciation specifically about phonemic symbols in the English language, and the place and manner of articulation. I learned about the various teaching techniques to be used to teach intonation, stress and pronunciation of individual sounds.
