I think this was also a challenging chapter to work through for me, particularly because I struggled to retain the arrangements with respect to the wide amount of relevant information that goes into choosing an arrangement. I hadn't even anticipated the possibility of having to discipline a student, so being exposed to that possibility was significantly helpful.Hated this unit! Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect, and Past Perfect Continuous can go to heaven! Very confusing once again, but I get it. I have to remember that we as ELL teachers are breaking the language down to it's most simple form. In order for others to understand the language..they need to be aware of these grammar rules, but I hate them ALL!
