In this unit, the large number of English fluency tests surprised me. I have heard of TOEFL before but none of the others. Also, it is surprising to me that the TOEFL is comprised of mostly multiple choice questions. While that can be useful, the inclusion of a speaking section will probably help the accuracy of the test. I am glad to hear that one was added.This unit was a good reminder for me in some respects about the important role a teacher has in the classroom. He not only needs to be a good speaker but most of all be a good listener. Even though it has been a while since I taught both children and adults, this encouraged me to be a good teacher and to work on certain areas to well prepare me for teaching.
