Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit has taught me the various methods used to teach a new language to foreigners in accordance with ESA model. This includes how to teach vocabulary, introducing grammatical structures and teaching language functions. Typically these methods are used in different ESA approaches such as the boomerang ESA lesson, the patchwork and the straight line lessons.Conditional and reported speech seem simple to the English speaker however this unit cleared up the rules for me. They are simple to me however actually teaching them to a learner of the English language can be confusing. i learned the c;ear differences between the tenses and the conditionals, which to me seem simple but I xn see where the confusions would lie.
