Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
In this unit I have realized how often we use words incorrectly how often we put sentences together incorrectly. I have also learned the meaning of superlative adjective , indefinite articles, transitive verbs or intransitive verbs. The unit itself refreshed my memory and I also learned a few new things which I will be able to use later on as a teacher .This unit was, as usual, very informative. Although I knew of and have been accustomed to the \"normal\" phonetics we find in our dictionaries, I was never aware of the universal/international phonemic chart. Even though it´s all new to me, I recognize the value that this chart holds in helping students gain a deeper knowledge of the English language.
