This is especially true for anyone planning to live and work in a new country as an English teacher.

This content helped me realise the important of receptive skills in learning English as a second language. Given me a clear idea on how to effectively teach students while engaging, studying and activating. This unit also provided pretty concise examples on what to do during those stages. Lots of new information that will definitely benefit me in the future.The video lessons provided a strong reflection of what a good teacher and classroom environment looks like, in comparison to what an ineffective teacher and poor classroom environment looks like. I was able to reflect on what I had learned in past units to understand how teaching style will severely affect students' engagement and participation in the class.
