Donegal, Bundoran is a small town surrounded by a beautiful coastal landscape dotted with picturesque beaches. The nearby Glenveagh National Park and Slieve League offer plenty of opportunities for you to get out and explore this part of the country, and the town of Bundoran itself is a haven for surfers from all over Ireland.

With plenty to offer people of all ages and walks of life, Bundoran makes for a popular holiday destination. Traditional Irish food can be found at the numerous pubs, cafes and restaurants around town and there is also a thriving live music scene. Walks in the countryside abound and there are several fascinating historical sites to visit. For the young the town is home to an adventure park and water park, both located on the seafront.

Travel in and around Bundoran is easy and the towns of Sligo and Donegal are just a few minutes’ drive away, while the larger cities of Galway and Derry are within easy reach. Bundoran is served by a direct bus service from Dublin Airport and also has good public transport links to other parts of the country.

ITTT’s TEFL training centre in Bundoran is only a few minutes from the beach. The town is small and it is easy to get around on foot or by bicycle. Nearby you will find supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, pubs and other small shops selling anything you could need during your time with us, from delicious meals to materials for the classroom.

At the school you will have access to photocopying facilities, a research room with resource books and computers with internet access (we also have Wi-Fi available). As the training centre is a functioning language school, you will have plenty of opportunity to gain hands-on experience teaching genuine English language learners.

There are several accommodation options available for attendees of our Bundoran TEFL course. There are bed and breakfasts on the seafront, short-term rentals of houses or apartments and stays with local families.

The prices for our accommodation options vary depending on the time of year and availability, but a stay at a nice bed and breakfast with an en-suite room and breakfast would cost you in the region of €200 per week.

The price per week for a fully furnished house or apartment is approximately €100. These short-term rentals are a good option for those bringing family or friends with them.

For a great way to get to know the locals and to experience an authentic Ireland, our final option is a room in the house of a local family. This option is priced similarly to our other options.

All options include internet, fully furnished room, house or apartment, towels and bed linen and breakfast (unless you choose the house or apartment rental).
